WESTMINSTER, Colo., Feb. 11, 2026 -- Dezeen and Trimble are excited to announce a three-year sponsorship agreement for Dezeen Awards, the leading global awards program for architecture, interiors and design. Trimble will work alongside Dezeen, furthering its ongoing commitment to inspire and support global design excellence as an established and essential companion to architects and designers worldwide.
Now in its ninth year, Dezeen Awards is one of the most-entered awards programs in its sector internationally, attracting more than 4,300 entries from 89 countries in 2025. Participants can enter 49 categories across architecture, interiors and design. The awards align with Trimble's passion for design and innovation, helping designers through its pioneering technology to transform the way they shape spaces and buildings, as well as drive productivity in the process.
Heather Adkins, chief marketing officer at Trimble said:
‘‘We are delighted to team up with Dezeen Awards, which celebrates the very best in global design. Creativity, originality and innovation are at the heart of what we do, and this collaboration allows us to support the designers and architects shaping the future of the industry. We look forward to seeing this year’s edition continue to inspire and champion creative excellence worldwide.’’
Claire Barrett, Dezeen's awards and events director, commented: "We are thrilled to be working with Trimble. Both brands are firmly underpinned by a commitment to innovation. Dezeen Awards enables us to shine a spotlight on the design community and reward those that are leading the field and pushing for true breakthroughs. Trimble provides technological solutions that make doing so much easier for designers."
Trimble provides 3D visualisation and collaboration solutions, including SketchUp, to support design-led practice from early concept through to delivery. Through its sponsorship with Dezeen Awards, Trimble helps showcase the ideas, processes, and people shaping the design industry.
Dezeen Awards also rewards six Designers of the Year, which spotlight the best emerging and established talent across architecture, interiors and design. Last year's winners include global architecture practice MAD, led by Ma Yansong, and Studio Toogood, a London-based practice founded by British designer Faye Toogood.
New for 2026 are the Regional Showcases, three Top 50 lists that will celebrate the best projects across three global locations: Europe, Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
A public vote will also be introduced this year.
Dezeen Awards is judged by the biggest names in the business, with former judges including architect Lord Norman Foster, designer Thomas Heatherwick and artist and stage designer Es Devlin. All entries to Dezeen Awards will be judged against three core criteria: is the entry beautiful, innovative and beneficial.
Entries for Dezeen Awards 2026 open on 11 February at dezeen.com/awards.
