Trimble Previews WorksManager Software for Civil Construction
Easily Manage Data and Technology Assets Across Sites

MUNICH, April 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) will be demonstrating its Trimble® WorksManager Software, a powerful, cloud-based application that empowers contractors who manage data and technology assets on civil construction sites, at bauma 2019. Trimble WorksManager is the next-generation backbone of the Trimble Connected Site® ecosystem for managing construction technology that enables contractors to increase efficiency and improve productivity.

"We continue to develop software to support the Trimble Connected Site ecosystem that is more integrated and easier to use than ever before," said Alistair Wells, general manager of Trimble's Civil Engineering and Construction Software Division. "Trimble is committed to creating innovative solutions that add real value to our customers' operations, and WorksManager will transform the way contractors manage their construction technology."

Connecting Civil Construction

Trimble WorksManager will allow users to wirelessly transfer data such as 3D designs to the construction site without ever leaving the office, saving drive time and money. Supervisors and data managers will be able to ensure that digital assets on the site are using the correct design version, and the designs are being used on the correct machine or data collector. This information will be presented on a user-friendly dashboard showing managers an overview of data and assets. Contractors will be able to see their construction technology in the field in real time to help prevent costly mistakes and rework.

WorksManager will be optimized for the latest Trimble technology and will integrate with the Trimble Earthworks Grade Control Platform, Trimble Siteworks Software and Trimble Business Center.

Availability

Trimble WorksManager Software will be available for existing Trimble Connected Community users to beta test beginning in April 2019. Customers interested in using the beta version of Trimble WorksManager should contact their local SITECH® dealer. The beta preview will run through the third quarter of 2019.
